Seasonal Positions
How
would you like to get paid to spend a few months in one of the picturesque
State Parks across
Texas? Well, come work and play with us! You, too, can play an important part
in the stewardship, management and operation of 95 state parks, natural areas
and historic sites covering over 600,000 acres. Several of our State Park
leaders began their exciting career as a seasonal employee. Come join us in
some of the most beautiful places in Texas to help make good memories for
our visitors and create stewards of our sites and heritage for future generations.
State Parks offers a broad range of job opportunities across Texas and at
the TPWD Headquarters complex in Austin. Seasonal positions range from visitor
services to interpretation and everything in between. The seasonal positions
available are listed below with a description of duties. Employees may perform
additional duties as assigned and must comply with all Agency, Division and
branch rules, regulations and procedures. These positions are available statewide
unless otherwise noted in the description. Hours and duration of employment
may vary. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of employment
with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Below is a list of seasonal
