Travelers weary from riding the rough trails that crisscrossed the Republic were greeted in Washington by John Lott and Mr. Roberts with their taverns and inns. Join us as we take a look at these refuges from the Texas weather and the fare and entertainment they offered!
Presentation times are 11:00 AM, 1:00PM and 3:00PM and the program will last approximately thirty-five to forty minutes. This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the season as the presentation takes place in a period setting. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 23400 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Accessible for the mobility impaired. Program subject to cancellation.
