Angler Education Certification Course

Come learn the basics of traditional fishing such as tying knots and hooks, selecting baits, using rods and reels, casting, fish identification and how to be a safe and responsible angler.

This course is designed to teach you the basics of traditional fishing such as tying knots and hooks, selecting baits, using rods and reels, casting, fish identification and how to be a safe and responsible angler. After successful completion of the course, anglers will receive a TPWD Angler pin and certification. Anglers of all ages are welcomed to attend. 

Class will be held in Cedar Lodge. There are 30 seats available.

Class will break for lunch from noon to 1:00 PM.
