Angler Education Instructor Training

This free workshop is open to anyone 17 or older interested in becoming a Certified TPWD Volunteer to teach the basics of fishing in their communities. The program provides the curriculum, equipment, materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce youth and their families to fishing. Ideal for teachers, youth group leaders, park and camp staff.  Participants should wear comfortable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities, and bring a water bottle and sack lunch.  Held at Sea Center Texas, 300 Medical Dr. Lake Jackson, TX.  Pre-registration required, contact Greg Akins greg.akins@tpwd.state.tx.us  or 281-534-0123.
