A full day of East Texas history and folklore. This event will feature historical reenactors including Buffalo Soldiers, a one room school house, blacksmithing, Texas Top Guns and a Wild West shootout, and more. Craft demonstrators will also be on hand to showcase 19th century handicrafts such as lace making, carpentry, and more. Sit on the Rice Family Loghome porch and hear the sweet sounds of dulcimer music while you watch some superb reenactments. Entry fees will be waived for visitors this day. There will also be a silent auction benefitting the Friends of Mission Tejas State Park.
