The beach at Mustang Island can be a difficult place to live. Meet at the Day Use Area (17047 St Hwy 361, Port Aransas, TX 78373) and learn about several habitats that make up the beach and then use shovels, sieves and nets for a hands-on discovery of the animals that have adapted to make it their home. Be prepared to get wet and bring plenty of sun protection. Event is free with paid park entrance. No reservations needed.
