Have you ever wondered what kind of bird it is that you’re actually seeing? Then, don’t miss out on the fun! Join National Audubon member James Sheppard on an easy but informative bird walk  Learn about the fun and excitement of bird watching, including basics on the use of binoculars and Bird Field Guides, as well as some techniques for successful bird watching in the outdoors. Bring your own binoculars if you have them, or let us know if you’ll need to borrow one. Dress for the weather; wear sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen, and bring at least one liter of water per person. Group size limited; participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; no pets please. Meet at the rainwater collection towers. Reservations required and will be accepted from noon December 6, 2013 until noon January 3, 2014. Sorry, no group reservations.
