Join Park Ranger and bird bander Craig Hensley for a morning of feathered friends at Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area. You’ll learn about the science of bird banding as well as have an opportunity to see live wild songbirds up close and personal. We will meet at the Headquarters and then head to Honey Creek State Natural Area off of Spring Branch Road for this special program. Please be sure to arrive at the Headquarters by 9 a.m. sharp and bring a folding chair, water and be sure to dress for the weather.
