Texas is the 'birdiest' state in the country and state parks are a great way to see this diversity up close! Join a Park Host on a bird walk to learn what birds you'll find in the park and check out which of our fine feathered friends are out and about!
Meet at the Interpretive Center by 9:00AM. The walk will mostly be on paved road; appropriate shoes are recommended. Binoculars and field guides will be available on a first come first serve basis. Bring your own if you have them! Please leave pets at home as they may scare away the birds.
All offered programs are free of charge; regular entrance fees apply.
