Explore the basics of birding by learning how to use binoculars and field guides, take a look at variations in bird beaks and habitat, then take a short nature walk to locate and identify local wildlife. 15 pairs of binoculars are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Birding 101 will take place at the amphitheater below the Activity Center and swimming pool.
We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable, flat shoes when participating in any activities. Restrooms are available at the Headquarters, Activity Center, Marina, and in each camping loop.
Regular park admission fees of $5 per adult ages 13 and up apply; no additional charge for activities.
No reservations necessary.
