Goose Island State Park is pleased to welcome back Doris Mager, affectionately known as the Eagle Lady! Doris will present her first program on owls followed by an Owl Walk at the south end of Turk's Cap Trail; parking located directly on Lantana Loop Road, located in the wooded camping area of Goose Island State Park.

Learn about the different owl species that visit or call Goose Island State Park home, and then join us for a 45 minute owl walk on Turk's Cap Trail.  No flash lights or head lamps please.  We will use the early evening twilight, moon, and stars to guide our way.  Participants are welcome to park at the north end of Turk's Cap Trail, next to campsite 157 and then walk to the South end for the program.

When:  Meet at 5:30 p.m. January 17, 2014  Walk will start at 5:45 p.m.

Where:  The south end of Turk's Cap Trail.

What: Enjoy a short presentation on the owls in our area, then go on a walk to search for owls.
