Attendees This program will be held in the Recreation Hall of Goose Island State Park. Raptors will be on display. Chairs will set up in inside the building, handicapped accessible.

Goose Island State Park is pleased to welcome back Doris Mager, affectionately known as the Eagle Lady! Doris will present her program on Birds of Prey at the Recreation Hall, parking available at either end of the day use area.  The Recreation Hall, our CCC Building, and parking are located off the main entry road of Goose Island State Park

Learn about the secret life of birds of prey that visit or call Goose Island State Park home.  This talk will focus on American Raptors; three species will be making a special appearance for the event: Great-horned Owl, American Kestrel, and a Screech Owl.  

When:  Meet at 6:30 p.m. January 18, 2014 

Where:  The Recreation Hall, our CCC Building

What: Enjoy a short presentation on Raptors, learn about SOAR-INC.  

 

This program is free (donations are welcome) with a Texas State Park Pass or $5 daily pass (children 12 and under are free). Please call 361-729-2858 for directions to the park or trail if needed.
