Blue Moon Over the Canyon Hike

Release your inner coyote and come howl at the Blue Moon Over the Canyon! Join knowledgeable guides on a fairly short hike and experience the second full moon in August. 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Group size limited; open to ages 14 and older; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; no pets please; Natural Area entry fees apply. Participants should be able to hike 3 miles (round trip) over rugged but beautiful trails with a fair amount of elevation gain. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight, at least a quart of water, and a snack if you like. Meet at the Visitor Center by the Rainwater Harvesting Tower.
