Ever wondered how butter was made during pioneer times? During this program you can discover exactly that. Hear about the process of making butter along with some of the history and evolution of the butter making during the years of Penn Farm. You can even try your hand at churning and molding the butter. Meet in the yard of the 1876 house on the Penn Farm grounds.
Program is available to the general public. The Penn Farm is flat and grassy and can accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. All programs are subject to weather conditions. Cedar Hill State Park, 1570 W FM 1382, Cedar Hill, TX 75104.
