Butterflies of Government Canyon

Come out and join us for a fall butterfly hike where we will learn about the varieties of butterflies found in the Natural Area at this time of year ! Butterfly expert Joanne Wells will lead us on an educational journey to discover the different butterflies of Government Canyon. If you have a passion for these beautiful insects, or if you just want to learn their names, please come and be ready for an awesome natural experience! Open to all ages; group size limited. Meet at the Visitors Center by the rainwater harvesting tower. Dress appropriately, sunscreen and hat recommended, and wear sturdy footwear appropriate for rough trails; bring two liters of water and a snack. No pets please.
