Civilian Conservation Corps Tour

Revisit the past, and learn about the original people who built many of our State Parks.  Sponsored by the Friends of Blanco State Park, this self-guided tour will highlight each of our original buildings built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s.  We will teach you about the history of how these structures came to be in or park, as well as the CCC itself.  The final portion of the tour includes original photos of not only the construction of the park, but also original Corps members.
