The "monte" gets a bad rap as being a lifeless desert, but on this nature walk, we'll see that the monte is actually full of life! This will be a very low-key walk on our Mesquite Bend trail: we will walk up to 2 miles if people are up for it, and a shorter distance if not. On the way, we'll look for birds, lizards, insects, plants, and anything else we can spot! Binoculars will be provided, or bring your own. Wear good footwear and sun protection, and bring drinking water.
Meet in front of the Boat Ramp Restrooms. All ages welcome!
