Edible Plants This easy one mile hike focuses on learning to identify some of the edible plants growing on Turk's Cap Trail. This is also a wonderful time to watch for wildlife.

This easy one mile hike will meet at Goose Island State Park's Bird Sanctuary and then head out to Turk's Cap Trail. Learn to identify some of our native edibles while watching for wildlife!
When: Thursdays at 2:30 p.m.
Where to meet: The Bird Sanctuary, next to the restrooms on Warlber Way. Warbler Way is located in the wooded camping area.
What are we doing: Learn to identify native plant, we can also watch for wildlife.
Things to bring: Water, bugspray, sun screen, shoes suitable for hiking, a camera, or binoculars.
