FIRST DAY HIKE & GEOCACHE

Come and join us for this Nationwide annual event, First Day Hike! The 5 mile guided hike will begin at 9:30 am at Coyote Run Trailhead, Cooper Lake State Park/South Sulphur Unit. A park ranger will accompany you and will provide information about the plants and animals as well as some history about the area called the "Sulphur River Bottoms". All ages are invited to participate as we start out the New Year enjoying nature at it's best! Be sure to bring water and a walking stick or you can purchase one at our Park Store before we go. Want to Geocache along the way? There are at least 3 Geocache Sites along this trail.
