Come join in the fun and start the year off on the right foot with a First Day Hike! We’re meeting at the Armadillo Hill Nature Trailhead at 12 noon for a short hike to the waters edge. The area we will visit is home to millions of fossils and is also a great place for birding so bring your binoculars! The trail is moderate and the shoreline is rocky so be sure to wear sturdy shoes. Dress appropriate for weather conditions and bring some water too. Initial event length is scheduled for one hour. For those who want a more challenging hike then join us for part two where we will take on some additional trails. Part two is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please, no pets.
