First Day Hike

Start the year off right with a self paced hike along the Duck Pond Trail.  As you enjoy your hike you will meet park staff and volunteers who will help you discover some of the plants and animals that are part of the habitat at the park.  You and your friends or family may begin your First Day Hike between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  Guides will remain along the trail until 3:30.  The traditional Duck Pond Trail Loop is about one mile. This First Day Hike at Cedar Hill State Park is meant for you to come enjoy the outdoors at your pace. Other trails are available for those who would like a longer hiking experience.  Come hike the state park and discover our outdoor recreation facilities you can enjoy in the New Year.
