First Day Hike at Bentsen – Birds at Bentsen Walk

This year’s First Day Hike at Bentsen will feature the park’s rich bird diversity. Participants will walk a total of 2.5 miles in search of some of the spectacular birds that call Bentsen their home. The group will visit several bird feeding stations and a bird blind. Bring comfortable shoes and a hat. No experience necessary to join this walk. Participants will meet at the park’s gift shop at 8:30am. Pets are allowed if they are on a leash. There are reservations required for this programs and this program is free with paid admission to Bentsen State Park.
