Start the New Year off on a healthy foot by participating in a First Day Hike. Park Rangers will be leading a hike of the Livingston and McEwan and Moore trails totaling approximately 1.5 miles. This trail passes through some of the most picturesque areas of the park; cameras or binoculars are recommended. The main portion of this trail has been closed since Hurricane Ike in 2008, so the staff is excited to see it reopened and being used!
This walk will gather at the Hercules Club Camping Loop Restrooms. Limited parking is available in this location, with additional parking in the day use areas.
We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable, flat shoes when participating in any activities. Restrooms are available at the Headquarters, Activity Center, Marina, and in each camping loop.
Leashed pets welcome!
Regular park admission fees of $5 per adult ages 13 and up apply; no additional charge for activities. No reservations necessary.
