Participants should register for the Frosty New Year Hike at least 15 minutes before the hike begins, or by 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012. The hike will last at least 2 hours, and will cover roughly 5 miles across ground-level trails and may also go up onto exposed rock surfaces. The guide may also take the tour to Native American pictographs. There will be a $5 entrance fee for adults ages 13 and older, and a $1 tour fee for participants ages 5 and older.
Special requests: For safety, resource protection, and the enjoyment of the group, the hike will be limited to 10 participants. Reservations are required; participants should dress warmly, bring water, and wear sturdy shoes, and may want to bring a hiking stick.
