Welcome in the New Year at Daingerfield State Park. On this two-mile guided hike, you will learn about the flora and fauna of the legendary Pineywoods of East Texas as well as the role your state parks plays and other outdoor recreational opportunities play in maintaining physical fitness and overall well being. Participants will want to bring sturdy shoes, a hiking stick and drinking water. Meet at the entrance trailhead of the Rustling Leaves Nature Trail.
