Enjoy a leisurely one-mile walk and learn about area plants and animals and discover how living things depend on each other in order to survive and thrive in the habitat here in North Texas. The hike is relatively easy, with some stairs up and down; hike takes approx. one hour. Not recommended for wheelchairs or strollers. Please call ahead on the morning of hike to confirm. Trails at this park are unimproved surfaces and may be closed during wet conditions. Participants will want to wear sturdy shoes, and bring drinking water and a hiking stick. Starts at the Duck Pond Trailhead.
