First Day Hikes

Bike and Run on the more than 50 miles of multi-use trails, for an approximate 2-3 hours, as sections will be marked off specifically for New Year’s Day hikers. Numerous other hike, bike and equestrian opportunities abound in this park where eco-regions converge and longhorns and bison still graze. Terrain in this park is varied, and can be primitive and challenging, so bring hiking shoes, drinking water and a hiking stick.  Meet at South Shore Unit.
