Join park staff for a morning Bird Walk at 8:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy the “Texas Tropics,” as you’ll wind through trails, boardwalks and other areas to search for famous Rio Grande Valley bird species such as Kiskadees, Warblers and many others. Hikers will want to bring binoculars, a hiking stick, sturdy shoes and drinking water. Hikers meet at park visitor center.
