First Day Hikes

Join us for a First Day Adventure Hike at Inks Lake State Park. Cost is $3 per person. It’s an adventuresome guided hike led by a park ranger. You will see gorgeous Texas Hill Country vistas on the top of beautiful outcroppings that surround the lake. Be challenged to check off the items listed on the scavenger hunt, as we weave through oak forests, climb on rocks and leap over creek beds. It’s a hiking odyssey for people of all ages. Bring sturdy hiking shoes, water and a hiking stick. Prizes awarded for those that complete the two-hour hike.  Meet at the Park Headquarters.
