Saturday, October 19th– ($4.00 entrance fee)
(Fishing poles and equipment are available to borrow – 1st come 1st serve basis)
-Meet by the canoe barn
-When: Visitors of any age are welcome to walk up and learn how to fish in a State Park! Join us at Buescher from 10am until 3pm and learn how to cast, attach bait and remove hooks with a Park Ranger! No fishing license is necessary.
-Bring: Plenty of drinking water, sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen), live bait (optional)

The park is located 2 miles northwest of Smithville. Take State Highway 71 to FM 153; then travel north on 153 for 0.5 miles to enter Park Road 1.
