Water - the essence of life; for those of us humans and wildlife that live in a desert, this rings loud and true. This Friday (August 24) kids will get their version of the Water Conservation education programming the park is offering this month.  Come out for a special evening program in McKelligon Canyon: Guest Speaker Norma Guzman from TecH20 will be joining us Friday evening providing a presentation on the present water situation in El Paso; following the presentation, we'll be showing "Rango".  Get a free low-flow shower head, and then let us know --- What is your pledge?  We'll provide you a pledge card and we’d like to know what you are going to do to help conserve water.  At the end of the month, we’ll take all of the pledges and share them on our facebook page to show what El Pasoans are doing to make a difference!  Families will also receive a reading list for kids' books on water conservation.

FMSP will be showing a movie from the Series "Texas: The State of Water" the first and third Fridays this month. We'll offer a Free showing of "Rango" the second and fourth Fridays for the kids. Call headquarters at: (915) 566-6441 and sign up soon!

*Bring: Snacks, drinks, and a comfy lawn chair (We'll also provide seating)
