Geocaching is a type of treasure hunt using a GPS unit to help find hidden “caches” placed by people all over the world. Geocaches are everywhere from just down the street to the most remote wilderness areas. This program will teach the basics of using a GPS for geocaching and how to get started. Meet at the Amphitheater and bring your own GPS or a limited number of units will be available for use during the program.
There is no additional fee for this program. Normal park entry fees still apply.
There are no age restriction for this program but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
