What's a Muggle (hint: in this case, it's not "Non-wizarding folk"? What's a TravelBug? What's Geocaching, for that matter?
Discover the answers to all these questions and more as we embark upon Geocaching, a high-tech treasure hunt that you can do anywhere in the world. There's also a special Geocache Challenges hidden within many of our Texas State Parks.
During this program, we will learn the basics of a GPS unit (provided), and we will search for "practice" Geocaches. Then we will use our newfound skills to find a real Geocache Challenge!
Meet in front of the Boat Ramp Restrooms. Wear walking shoes and sun protection, and bring drinking water. All ages welcome!
Note: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee. No need to register--just show up!
