Geocaching

Geocaching is a type of treasure hunt using a GPS unit to help find hidden “caches” placed by people all over the world.  Geocaches are everywhere from just down the street to the most remote wilderness areas. This program will teach the basics of using a GPS for geocaching and how to get started .  GPS units available to use during the program. There will be a short instruction on how to use a GPS, we will then try our new skill on the trail to hunt for a hidden “Cache”. Wear shoes appropriate for a hike, bring water.   *MEET AT THE AMPHITHEATER*
