Participants will have an opportunity to spend the evening toasting marshmallows and enjoying a campfire. Additionally, Texas Parks & Wildlife paid and volunteer staff will share stories about curses, spirits, legends and things that go bump in the night at Lake Whitney State Park. Event participants will have an opportunity to share their ghost stories (family-friendly, please!) at the end of the program.
Chairs will be provided. However, participants are encouraged to bring a blanket on which to sit.
The program is free to any visitor with a valid entrance permit. After hours, visitors can purchase entrance permits at the self-pay station across from Park Headquarters. The entrance fee is $5.00 per person for everyone 13 and older. The Texas State Parks Pass waives entrance fees for the pass holder and up to 14 passengers of the same vehicle.
