One of the quintessential Hill Country birds is the Golden-cheeked Warbler. Join Park Interpreter Craig Hensley for a walk in search of the Golden-cheeked Warbler (and other birds), the quintessential and Federally-endangered Hill Country bird along the trails of Honey Creek State Natural Area. We’ll meet at the Rust House at Honey Creek SNA, accessed through Guadalupe River State Park, 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070. Bring your binoculars, water and wear sturdy shoes or boots as we’ll be hiking on rocky trails. Free with a TPWD Park Pass, otherwise gate admission of $7 (good for the entire day); reservations not required.
