Goose Island First Day Hike

Join us to start the new year off on the right, or left, foot and hike the island, woods, and to the big tree and back. We will see migratory birds and view the whooping cranes that winter on Lamar Peninsula. Three segments will consist of 2.5, 2.5 and 4 miles for a total of 9 miles. You may start and/or stop at anytime. Wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes; bring water to drink and insect repellent. Cancelled if weather is bad, call the office at 361-729-2858 for details.
