Have you ever seen a living waterfall? Want to? Gorman Falls is 65 feet of cascading mineral laden waters that continue building up and advancing out from the bluff creating fantastic formations and breathtaking beauty. Hike from high above the Colorado River down the rocky bluffs into the river canyon. Stand at the base of the falls and discover why for centuries it has been called “The Land of Living Waters”. Sturdy footwear and drinking water required. Tour cancelled in inclement weather. Vehicle needed to travel into the Gorman Falls Area. Meet at Gorman Falls Trailhead, ½ mile from park entrance; no pets please. Colorado Bend State Park, County Road 446 Bend, Tx 76824. fees: $5 per person, $2 children 12 & under; park entrance fees apply; reservations not required.
