Join our talented Park Host for a lesson in basket weaving! You'll get the opportunity to learn a variety of weaving techniques and try your hand at making your very own basket! No need to worry if you have no experience - our Park Host is great at teaching and assisting those who need it throughout the program! Depending on the weaves that will be taught & due to varying difficulties, there may be an age limit on participants (contact the park for details on a specific week's class).
Program will last approximately 2.5 hours and will be held in the park's Interpretive Center. Due to limited materials, reservations are required for this program and it is limited to about 8 people. To make reservations, use the sign up sheet posted at the Interpretive Center or contact the Interpretive Ranger at the contact information listed. Please inform the staff which date you would like to attend, how many are in your group, and how many individuals in the group will be making their own basket (parent/child teams can make one combined basket if desired).
