Enjoy scenic views among the unique rock formations of Hueco Tanks, on an upper or lower-level hike. Hiking tours accommodate 10 people. Tours last a minimum of two hours. Participants should bring a camera, water, and a backpack for their items while scrambling up or down rocks. Dress for the desert environment: sunblock, a hat, long sleeves, and hiking boots are recommended. Hiking tours are not accessible for the mobility, visually, or hearing impaired.
Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday by advance request. Reservations are required, and are taken until the tour is full. Call (915) 849-6684 for reservations and information. There is a $2 activity fee for ages 5 and above in addition to the $7 entrance fee for ages 13 and above. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, pets are not allowed on tours; for their safety pets may not be left in vehicles unattended.
