Introduction to Kayaking at the Isle du Bois Unit *Workshop FULL - Waitlist Forming*
Let a Park Ranger teach you how to safely paddle on Lake Ray Roberts. Learn to paddle yourself around in a kayak, play some on-the-water games and learn a little bit about water conservation. Kayaks/paddles and life vests provided. Free program, but reservations are required.

Learn how to safely paddle on Lake Ray Roberts, play some on-the-water games and learn about water conservation. Boats, paddles, life vests and instruction are provided. No cost to participate, but reservations are required due to limited space by calling Ranger Cassie at 940-367-7433. Children 12 and older can paddle in a single-seat kayak or a double-seat kayak with an adult or another child 12 or older. Children 3 and older can ride in a boat accompanied by an adult. Dress in clothes you can get wet in. Water shoes are recommended. Don't forget to bring some drinks and sunscreen! Meet at the Isle du Bois Unit - Deer Ridge Camping Loop extra parking area between campsites 58 and 59. Inclement weather may cause program cancellation - call the number provided for questions about inclement weather.
