Join in on a Junior Ranger Explorer Activity at Goose Island State Park! Junior Ranger Explorer Activities focus on discovering the outdoors and nature. Prior to the hike we will go over the contents of a Junior Ranger Explorer Pack; on the hike we will complete an activity from the Junior Ranger Explorer Journal! Activities may be searching for certain items or creatures on the trail, learning bird identification skills, or completing a art project.
When: 2:30 p.m.
Where: We will meet at the Bird Sanctuary on Warbler Way at 2:30 p.m. The Bird Sanctuary is in the woods camping area of the park, and is next to the restrooms on Warbler Way.
Helpful things to bring: Water, bug spray, close toed shoes; a Junior Ranger Explorer Pack is optional.
Park Location: So where is Goose Island State Park? We are located north of Rockport Fulton across the Copano Causeway on 202 S. Palmetto, Rockport, Tx.
Goose Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
