Ever wanted to be a park ranger? Well, please join us for a quick, family-friendly activity guide with a park ranger.
This Junior Ranger Scavenger Hunt will focus on discovering the outdoors and nature. This activity is for individuals of all ages. Prizes awarded to participating individuals who begin to complete a scavenger hunt with our park ranger.Maximum participant slots available: 40 people.
Activities include: An eye-spy scavenger hunt, puzzles, art, games, and a short hike. Search for nature items on the trail like flowering plants, bird nests, and animal tracks to name a few.
Where: We will meet at the Nature Center, on the bay side of Galveston Island State Park.
Helpful things to bring: A journal to record things, a camera if you want pictures, water, bug spray, and sturdy shoes.
Galveston Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
