In the 19th c South, cotton was “king” and Texas was no exception to the rule. Join us for this look at how cotton figured in to the economy and daily life of Texians.
Presentation times are 11:00 AM, 1:00PM and 3:00PM and the program will last approximately thirty-five to forty minutes. This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the season as the presentation takes place in a period setting. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 23400 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Accessible for the mobility impaired. Program subject to cancellation.
