Join park staff on an adventure hike at Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site and celebrate Lady Bird Johnson’s Centennial Year. Visitors will not only learn a little history along the way, but they’ll learn about the great outdoors and the flora and fauna of the Texas Hill Country. Participants are encouraged to bring water, binoculars, and wear sturdy hiking shoes. All ages are welcomed on this family friendly hike in the park that will begin at the Park Visitor Center at 9:00 AM. No pets please. Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site is located at 199 Park Road 52, Stonewall, Texas 78671. For more information you may call the park headquarters at (830)644-2252. No reservations required unless a large group of 10 or more attending. Trail conditions are rated as low to moderate difficulty and no fees charged for this event.
