Celebrate National Trails Day the right way & join a Ranger on a Saturday morning stroll along the beach! We may not have typical 'trails' but the beach is still a great place to explore! Learn about barrier island ecology & see what sorts of animals we can spot along the way! The walk will be about a mile in length and will be done at a leisurely pace. Remember to dress for the weather as we will be outside for about an hour. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and good walking shoes are recommended.
Meet at the Day Use parking lot by 9:00AM. Bring binoculars if you've got 'em! Leashed, well behaved pets are always welcome on our beach walks!
All outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. Program is free of charge; regular entrance fees apply ($5 per adult).
