National Trails Day Hike
Join a park ranger on the trail for National Trails Day. The pace for this hike will be faster than a Junior Ranger Explorer Hike, but still relaxed. Enjoy the beauty of coastal woodlands, with a ranger on hand to answer questions about the flora and fauna of Goose Island State Park.

This is a 1 mile hike.
When: Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
Where: We will meet at the Bird Sanctuary on Warbler Way at 9:00 a.m. The Bird Sanctuary is in the woods camping area of the park, and is next to the restrooms on Warbler Way. Please park in the parking lot next to campsite #157.
Helpful things to bring: A journal to record things, a camera if you want pictures, water, bug spray, and sturdy shoes.
Park Location: So where is Goose Island State Park? We are located north of Rockport Fulton across the Copano Causeway on 202 S. Palmetto, Rockport, Tx.
Goose Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
