All ages are welcome just be prepared for some rough and uneven surfaces. Wear good hiking shoes and expect some rugged terrain on the hike. Bring drinking water for the hotter temperatures that we are experiencing with the Texas summers.
This interperative hike with the park Ranger will explore the plants, animals and history of Lost Maples SNA. The partipicants will learn about the parks unique ecosystems and how the maples thrive in the Sabinal River Canyon. Lost Maples has a unique diversity of plants that are found only in the Texas Hill Country. The hike will look in to a few of the critters found in Can Creek on the way up to the pond.
