Cost:    $5.00 entrance

Bring:    Camera, your camera’s manual, water and snacks. 

Driving Directions to Tom Mays Unit: From Westside from I-10, take exit #6 & travel east towards Mountains for 3.8 mi., pass park entrance on left, make u-turn, entrance on right.  From Eastside on Hwy 54, exit Transmountain Rd, travel west 7 miles over/thru the mountains, Park entrance on the right.

 

About the Instructor: 

Wayne Pope is an adjunct professor of photography at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan.  He and his wife, Melinda, teach a variety of photo workshops. Wayne graduated from Ysleta High School in El Paso, Texas.  He served 4 years active duty with the U.S. Army as a Chinese-Mandarin Interpreter. Wayne has a BS degree in biology from Michigan State University. He has been a newspaper and magazine photojournalist for 30 years. Wayne recently self-published two books: 'Birds of Michigan' and 'My Favorite Facebook Photos'.  Visit Wayne's website at: waynerpope.com
