Where to meet: On the Deck overlooking Ibis Pond next to the Park Store
What are we doing: Finding constellations overhead, looking for scorpions, tarantulas, frogs, snakes, owls and other creatures of the night, and walking.
Things to bring: Binoculars, water, bug spray, shoes suitable for walking, a camera, and weather appropriate clothing, a flashlight, and a black light can be useful.
Walks may be canceled or postponed in event of rain.
There is no fee for attending this program although park entrance is required. Entrance fees are $5 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free, or free with a current Texas State Park Pass. Appropriate for all ages.
